There is no extra charge for these portrait effects.  Black & White portraits are crisp & classic.  Sepia has a subtle red undertone.  Softened is the entire image slightly de-saturated of its’ colours.  Images in Black & White / Sepia with select items in full colour, is called HAND COLOURING.  There is a ten dollar charge for this effect, since it requires more time. You are only charged once to create the effect, per image, plus the cost of prints you desire.

Babies rarely fit properly in clothes & therefore photograph better in the buff. Fitted onesies looks nice, as well.

Please wait until your child has developed neck control, otherwise, these outfits hide faces.

Earthy tones always look nice.  For Family or group shots, pick coloured shirts that either compliment each other or are in the same colour family, & pair them with jeans or khakis.  Try; parents in neutral tones while kids wear colours, boys in one colour with girls in another. Small or tight patterns are not encouraged, they can distract from your faces.  Remember, browns looks good with every colour, & keep your skin tones in mind when choosing your colours.

Once you confirm your placed order, it takes three weeks until your printed portraits are in your hands.

It is a low resolution CD designed solely for viewing purposes.  Because the viewing CD is Lo Res, your images will appear blurry on this CD.  Rest assured, the originals that Photographic Footprints keep on file are a high quality resolution.

Photographic Footprints knows that life happens, and you never know what the future holds.  This is why all portrait sessions are kept in our archive files.  We would be pleased to order extra prints for you at any time.

Each situation is unique.  Portrait sessions can be rescheduled; this is at the discretion of the photographer.  Retake sessions are at no extra charge, but time may be limited.

Morning is preferred for all babies, but evenings, after feeding, work well too.  For infants and toddlers, whenever “happy” time is.

Sleeping is preferred, they look peaceful.  We can always wake them up afterwards.
